Eurobet
Eurobet was the first company to accept bets via the internet in 1996. In 1999 Eurobet joined forces with Coral bookmakers and the company was subsequently acquired by the Gala Group in 2005.
Because Eurobet and Coral are of the same parent company, you would expect some similarities between their websites. However, both websites are designed identically with a few discernable differences.
Firstly, Eurobet don’t seem to offer any promotions on their sportsbook, or at least nothing that we could find. The second difference is that Eurobet offer their site in sixteen European languages, making it a truly European site. Finally, while Coral focus on football, horse racing and greyhounds, Eurobet focus their efforts on football, basketball, ice hockey and tennis.
The football book is excellent, offering odds on the majority of European leagues, while the basketball and ice hockey markets are the most comprehensive we’ve seen.
A decent ‘inplay’ section is also offered and Eurobet will tell you the next five football bets available, as well as the next five events available.
